In two weeks, Munich's Königsplatz will once again be the venue for IAA Open Space concerts. From September 5th to 10th, artists such as Bruckner, Glockenbach, KYTES and Leony will perform at 8pm. Tickets for the evening concerts are available now.
Five open-air performances on the largest festival stage in front of the Propylaea
On the day that IAA MOBILITY kicks off (September 5), the two brothers who make up Bruckner will start performing their blend of indie pop at 8:00 p.m. Their music embodies the full breadth of German indie pop music, incorporating various genres as they convey the turmoil of an entire generation.
KYTES will also perform on September 5. This award-winning indie band from Munich produces a feel-good, casual mix of indie disco and electro pop. They have over 250 shows under their belt, including sold-out tours and appearances at renowned festivals like Melt! Festival and The Great Escape.
Levent Geiger and Leony will perform on the Königsplatz stage on Thursday, September 7
Levent Geiger, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter, has established a massive fanbase in just three years with his popular covers on YouTube (3 million followers) and creative mash-ups on TikTok (6 million followers). He has mastered five instruments, speaks five languages, and reaches over 10 million users on social media. At the same time, he is an impressive live performer, having even opened for The Backstreet Boys. Geiger reached over 30 million streams and made it to the Top 30 on the radio with his own songs like “2 dumb kids” and “Bad Days”.
Leony is one of the most in-demand performers in Germany, with hit singles like “Faded Love” and “Remedy”. She has reached over 800 million streams worldwide, won numerous gold and platinum awards, and worked alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry. Leony was also nominated for an MTC EMA in 2022 for the category “Best German Act”, as well as for the 1Live Award in the categories “Best Artist”, “Best Song (Remedy)”, and “Best Hip-Hop/R&B Song (Follow with Kontra K and Sido)”.
The IAA After Work Party will be held on September 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with musical performers the Arabella Radio Band. This group will create a relaxed atmosphere with its mix of beloved classics, current hits, and hidden treasures over the decades.
Moss Kena and Glockenbach feat. ÁSDÍS will finish off the series of live shows on Saturday. Moss Kena is a British singer-songwriter whose mega-hit collaboration with Purple Disco Machine, “Fireworks”, reached 170 million streams worldwide and became a platinum radio hit in Europe – not to mention his hit with Alle Farben, “Forgot How to Love”, which reached the Top 10 in the airplay charts in Germany. Moss made a name for himself as a solo artist with his single “Light It Up”, and his current single “Open Water” is on a steady rise through the charts at the moment.
After touring with artists like Bastille, Lewis Capaldi, Rita Ora, and Jess Glynne, Moss has proven himself to be an artist who can captivate an audience with his crystal clear voice and infectious star quality.
The big finale on the Königsplatz stage will be a performance by Glockenbach, a very successful act who have established a multitalented team and vibrant network across major cities so that they can convert global inspiration into extraordinary, international sounds. Their last three singles reached the Top 3 in the German airplay charts, and they are on the cusp of reaching 250 million streams with just four singles. They will be joined by newcomer ÁSDÍS, whose voice has been absolutely everywhere lately. Her song “Dirty Dancing” reached the Top 25 in the German charts and Top 3 in the airplay charts, while her new song “Angel Eyes” can be heard all over German radio.
On Wednesday, September 06, the musician ELNI will also perform as part of the EnBWHyperNight. She will play from 20 -20:45.
The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. each day, with admission opening at 6:30 p.m. Admission is only possible with a valid ticket! There will be 5000 free tickets for each concert. Visitors can receive the free tickets on the IAA MOBILITY website (by next week) as long as supplies last. Seating is limited.
