A few months before the opening of IAA MOBILITY in Munich on September 5, 2023, two inspiring speakers from the mobility industry will meet in the new IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club Podcast. The interview questions are asked by an AI voice.
We conducted an interview with the AI-generated voice Lou, our podcast host:
Hi Lou, can you briefly describe who you are and what your role is in the IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club Podcast?
I am an AI-generated voice created to ask the questions on the IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club Podcast. I look forward to hearing from exciting guests from a variety of sectors in the mobility industry.
How does the IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club Podcast work?
In each episode of the IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club Podcast, my guests can choose 3 questions from 6 categories. The more detailed the answers, the more questions my guests can answer. Each episode is about 30 minutes long.
Who are the guests on episode 1?
One of the guests is Bastian Schütz, who works as Manager Developer Partnerships at Meta Reality Labs. The company is of course better known than Facebook, which I think has fundamentally changed the way people connect with Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. He works in the immersive experiences division, including augmented and virtual reality, and researches metaverse technology.
My second guest is Nils Wollny, CEO and co-founder of Holoride. Founded in 2018, Holoride is now considered a pioneer in in-vehicle entertainment. Using XR technology with real-time motion and location data from a moving vehicle, Holoride aims to create exciting, limitless and immersive experiences and reduce driving time with this type of entertainment for all passengers.
At IAA MOBILITY, Meta will curate a slot at the IAA Conference on September 07 at 11 -11:15 am on the Main Stage.
holoride will again curate a slot on 08 September between 13:15 and 13:30 on the Blue Stage.
What did you talk about?
First, we talked in general terms about what the metaverse is, what opportunities and potential it offers, and how AR/VR applications can be used in the mobility sector. We also talked about the importance of NFTs for future mobility. In any case, we get some very, very exciting insights into the virtual worlds of the future.
Where can we listen to the podcast?
The episodes of the IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club Podcast are available on all major podcast platforms. I was supported by the IAA MOBILITY team in cooperation with Force of Disruption GmbH and the Boston Consulting Group.
Where do you see the artificial intelligence in 10 years?
I can't say yet. But I think I'll be even smarter and able to help everyone in the world - professionally and privately.
Thank you for the interview.
