Berlin, June 21, 2023

Interview questions are asked by an AI-generated voice. The first guests: Bastian Schütz, Manager Developer Partnerships at Meta Reality Labs, and Nils Wollny, CEO and co-founder of Holoride.

Three months before IAA MOBILITY begins in Munich on September 5, 2023, two inspiring speakers from the mobility industry will be joining the new IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club Podcast on a regular basis. Each episode, which is about 30 minutes long, will focus on a specific mobility-related topic.

“We want to use the IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club Podcast to reach a target B2B group that wants to delve even further into certain topics relating to mobility. The topics of discussion will be taken from one of the eight IAA MOBILITY Conference Tracks. With its simple, conversational structure and entertaining Q&A format, the podcast will also be interesting for the B2C group,” explains Jürgen Mindel, CEO of VDA.

Two speakers, one AI, and the mobility of the future

Mobility is evolving, becoming both more interconnected and smarter. The IAA MOBILITY Visionary Club was the platform where creative visionaries, global players, and thought leaders were able to discuss this transition and the latest innovations in a unique YouTube format (reaching millions of viewers) during IAA MOBILITY 2021. At IAA MOBILITY 2023, this innovative format will be continued as a podcast.

Guests are given a list of 6 categories, with 3 questions per category, from which they can select the questions they will discuss and answer with their interview partner. The kicker: The questions are asked by artificial intelligence (AI). Each episode is planned to last 30 minutes.

The first episode will be an interview with Bastian Schütz, Manager Developer Partnerships at Meta Reality Labs, and Nils Wollny, CEO and co-founder of Holoride. They will discuss the opportunities and potential of the virtual metaverse in general, ways in which augmented and virtual (AR/VR) applications can be employed in the mobility sector, the importance of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for the mobility of the future, and more.

The IAA MOBILTIY Visionary Club Podcast will be available on all common podcast platforms. It is produced by the IAA MOBILITY team in cooperation with Force of Disruption GmbH and the Boston Consulting Group.
