On the fifth day of IAA MOBILITY, the events at the IAA Summit and the IAA Conference have come to an end, and the trade fair center Messe München is closed for IAA MOBILITY. The weekend is all about the IAA Open Space and the IAA Experience in downtown Munich.

The IAA Experience at the trade fair center Messe München ended on Friday. However, the IAA Open Space in downtown Munich continues through Sunday. Visitors can still test drive more than 232 vehicles from 22 different exhibitors throughout the city center.
Cycling and e-bike enthusiasts can head to Ludwigstrasse to take on the Cycling & Micromobility Course, or try out new models on the 4 km Cycling Test Track in the English Garden.
The experience is rounded out by Innovation Cases from Bosch, Mahle, Snapdragon, and INYO Mobility, who are showcasing their technologies in the Open Space.

The IAA Open Space continues to offer exciting experiences for the whole family on day five. At BMW’s Family Trail Station 9, titled “Proactive Pairs: Match the pairs with BMW Proactive Care, collect stamps & win prizes!”, visitors can test their memory with a matching game, find the correct pairs, collect a stamp for the Family Trail, and win prizes. The booth’s motto is: “Relax. We’ve got this.”
At Family Trail Station 10, under the slogan “Rolling, flying, swimming – kids design the vehicles of the future” (12:00–14:00), visitors can take part in a creative workshop where children design their dream vehicles using recycled materials.
At the Citizen Lab on Marienplatz, a discussion will explore ideas for creating a relaxed and livable city for all generations. A keynote will also highlight why there’s no way around electromobility and where we currently stand in transforming the mobility sector.
On the Siegestor stage, the “Ehrenblicki 2025” award by Blicki e.V. will be presented from 12:15 to 13:00. This award honors initiatives that promote greater safety for children in traffic. From 14:00 to 14:30, there will be a panel discussion with Daniel Abt and other experts on the opportunities and challenges of autonomous driving.
Musical highlights include a performance by German-American artist DEVADO, winner of the Radio Gong 96.3 x IAA MOBILITY Band Contest, from 16:30 to 17:30. Rolax Sax will bring emotional saxophone melodies to the stage, and Cellz will perform a mix of rap, soul, and hip-hop.
From 20:00 to 23:00, the Festival of Lights will illuminate the Bavarian State Library, the Old Town Hall, and the Residenz for the final time.
