On the second day of IAA MOBILITY, a wide range of expert events will take place, German race driver Sophia Flörsch will make a special appearance, and once again, countless exciting experiences await.

Several key conferences and forums will take place on September 10 as part of the IAA Summit’s expert program:

The electronica Automotive Conference (9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Room 03, ICM – International Congress Center Messe München) will explore the most pressing trends and challenges facing the automotive supply chain in a rapidly changing environment. The conference will focus on electrification, hydrogen, fuel cell and hybrid drives, battery-electric propulsion, interior and exterior lighting, supply chain resilience, CO₂ neutrality, sustainability, and recycling.

At the E.ON New Energy Experience 2025 (NeX25)—the exclusive energy and mobility summit co-hosted by IAA MOBILITY and E.ON—more than 1,000 participants, over 60 high-level speakers, and 25 partner companies will come together in Room 14 (9:00 AM–9:00 PM) to share insights and solutions for the energy and mobility transition. Topics will include charging infrastructure, energy storage, grid flexibility, and digital energy platforms—all explored in keynotes, panels, and deep-dive sessions.

The World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC) 2025 (2:00–6:00 PM, Room 5, ICM) is the most influential global event focused on new energy vehicles and will take place at IAA MOBILITY for the second time. This year’s edition will center on the evolving partnership between China and Germany, with a particular focus on e-mobility and industrial innovation. Key themes include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cross-border cooperation in industrial and supply chains.

Later in the day, German race driver Sophia Flörsch will take the stage for a Visionary Talk, sharing her personal story of persistence, resilience, and ambition in a male-dominated industry. She will speak about her career setbacks, her comeback journey, and her aspirations for the future of racing.

In the afternoon, Google experts will present the session "AI's Transformative Role in Automotive" (Main Stage, Hall A2, 2:00–2:30 PM), offering insights into how artificial intelligence is reshaping every aspect of the vehicle lifecycle—from development to user experience.

In the Open Space, visitors can once again embark on a journey of discovery along the Family Trail. At Station 3, the New Mobility Explorers by Riese & Müller offer a hands-on experience that brings the world of mobility to life for children. At Station 4 on Wittelsbacherplatz, Audi invites young visitors to take part in "Vorsprung durch Köpfchen"—a series of fun and challenging activities designed to test their creativity and problem-solving skills (11:00 AM – 9:00 PM).

On the Königsplatz stage hosted by Zukunft Nahverkehr (ZNV), Lena Kleinschmidt, Commercial Director at HOLON GmbH, and Ulrike Ulsamer, Project Lead of ALIKE at Hamburger Hochbahn AG, will discuss how public transport operators and private mobility companies can work together to shape the future of autonomous public transit.

Meanwhile, at the Citizen Lab on Marienplatz, the session "Driving the Future: How We Can Support Mobility Startups" (2:00–2:30 PM) explores how academic institutions and industry players are joining forces to accelerate startup growth in the mobility space.

Also at the Citizen Lab, Bayern Innovativ offers a forward-looking perspective with the session “How Will We Get from A to B in 2035? Mobility Trend Radar: More Than a Crystal Ball” (4:30–5:00 PM), providing thought-provoking insights into the future of transport. This is followed by the session "Navigating Everyday Life Without Barriers: How Mobility Can Work for People with Visual Impairments" (5:15–6:00 PM), which addresses how inclusive design and smart solutions can empower people with visual disabilities to move safely and independently through daily life.

The Cycling & Micromobility Course on Ludwigstraße offers a dynamic test environment with multiple urban modules.

The 4-kilometer Cycling Test Track in the English Garden invites visitors to explore the newest bikes and e-bikes in one of Munich’s most scenic green spaces.
