What do you hope to achieve at IAA MOBILITY 2023?
The IAA MOBILITY 2023 for me it's all about networking: The IAA provides a unique opportunity to connect with professionals from various sectors of the automotive industry, including manufacturers, designers, engineers, suppliers, and potential business partners.
Which essential topic of the future receives too little attention from the public?
One essential topic of the future that often receives too little attention is the ethical and societal implications of emerging technologies. As technology continues to advance at an unprecedented pace, it brings about significant changes in various aspects of our lives. However, the focus is often on the benefits and conveniences these technologies offer, rather than considering their potential drawbacks and impact on society.
In which area of mobility do you see the greatest potential and where do you see the greatest need to catch up?
The greatest potential lies in the area of electric vehicles and sustainable transportation. As the world seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change, transitioning from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric vehicles is crucial. EVs offer numerous advantages, including lower emissions, reduced dependence on fossil fuels, and potential for renewable energy integration. The ongoing advancements in battery technology, charging infrastructure, and affordability of EVs are driving this transition. With further research and investment, EVs can become more efficient, affordable, and accessible to a wider range of consumers.
IAA MOBILITY is the leading global mobility platform. It connects innovators from all spectrums of mobility. Who do you want to network with in September and why?
IAA MOBILITY attracts a diverse range of startups and innovators showcasing their latest technologies and solutions. Networking with these individuals will help me to stay updated on cutting-edge developments and potentially form partnerships or investment opportunities. And of course networking with potential customers or clients is crucial for establishing partnerships or expanding our customer base.
The world is fundamentally changing. Innovation and also the endeavors in the mobility sector are bigger than ever before. What is your vision of the world in 20 years?
In 20 years the widespread adoption of electro mobility, the world will undergo a transformative shift towards a cleaner and more sustainable future. Electric vehicles (EVs) will dominate the roads, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality in cities. With advances in battery technology, EVs will have longer ranges and shorter charging times. Charging infrastructure will be pervasive, with charging stations available in parking lots, homes, and along highways, ensuring uninterrupted mobility for all.
