The IAA Experience is the hands-on experience format of IAA MOBILITY. Exhibitors provide a wide range of mobility options from bicycles and micromobility to passenger cars for visitors to test. The focus is on directly experiencing modern mobility. Passenger cars can be driven both in the city and on the highway. Micromobility options such as e-bikes, e-scooters, and cargo bikes can be tested in the Open Space.

At IAA MOBILITY 2027, there will be a wide range of testing opportunities. Zero-emission passenger cars will be available as part of the “Test Drives” at several departure points in the Open Space as well as at one departure point at the Summit.

ADAS and telematics systems can be tested at the Summit. Interested visitors can register at the exhibition area of the participating exhibitor. The departure points are located in the loading yards.

At the Cycling & Micromobility Course (northern Ludwigstrasse, Open Space), bicycles, e-bikes, cargo bikes, and scooters can be tested under real road conditions.

At the Cycling Test Track in the English Garden (northern Ludwigstrasse, Open Space), bicycles and e-bikes can be tried out without a license plate requirement. The bikes are issued at the booth spaces of participating exhibitors on northern Ludwigstrasse.

All testing opportunities are organized by the participating exhibitors. More information will soon be available on the IAA MOBILITY website. All registered exhibitors and participating vehicles will also be listed in the “IAA Experience” section of the official IAA MOBILITY app soon.

Test drives can be reserved in advance through the booking tools of participating exhibitors, if such a tool is available. Visitors will soon find the link to the respective booking tool in the vehicle listing in the IAA MOBILITY app.
