In 2025, more than 21,000 participants and over 550 speakers from 32 countries came together to discuss key future topics in mobility, from software-defined vehicles, artificial intelligence, and autonomous driving to electrification and charging infrastructure, as well as smart infrastructure and the circular economy.

The IAA Conference is the international B2B conference program of IAA MOBILITY. Its stages are located within the exhibitor halls at the Munich exhibition grounds as part of the IAA Summit.
The IAA Conference takes place as part of the IAA Summit from September 7 to 10, 2027.
No, access to the conference stages is included in the regular Summit ticket for professional visitors, as well as in press and exhibitor tickets. No separate ticket is required.
The conference language of the IAA Conference is English. Individual sessions in German may occur and will not be translated.
The topics of the IAA Conference are as diverse as mobility itself, with the key topics of IAA MOBILITY reflected across the conference tracks. These include automotive, cycling, micromobility, and public transport, as well as mobility services such as MaaS (Mobility as a Service).
Technology-driven topics like autonomous driving, AI & GenAI, software-defined vehicles, future powertrain technologies, and battery tech are also on the agenda. These are complemented by sustainability-focused topics such as the circular economy and supply chains. Finally, urban and rural mobility are also key areas of discussion, covering not only the expansion of charging infrastructure for e-mobility, but also holistic intermodal, multimodal, and integrated mobility solutions as drivers of innovation for cities and rural areas of the future.
