IAA MOBILITY Serves as a Platform for Numerous Award Winners and Laureates

The automotive and mobility industry is among the most innovative sectors in Germany. Thus, awards are an excellent means to provide innovative companies or products with enhanced visibility. IAA MOBILITY 2023 presents an outstanding platform to showcase creative ideas and pertinent subjects to a broad audience and the media.

The Best Company Cars of 2023 Are...
The expert jury from the online portal firmenauto.de selected the company cars of the year 2023. A total of 213 model series competed in 18 categories, spanning various segments from minicars to SUVs, and from electric vehicles to plug-in hybrids. In some categories, the decisions were extremely close, especially among the electric models. For example, in the overall electric SUV category, the BMW iX3 secured the top spot with just a two-point lead over the Skoda Enyaq (Coupe) iV. In the compact class, the Cupra Born edged out the BMW iX1 by two points. Furthermore, the Cupra Born clinched both the overall and import victories in the electric compact class category, much like the Fiat 500. The MINI secured first place in the minicar, electric minicar, and electric subcompact car categories. Overall, BMW managed to win the title of "company car of the year" in six categories. As the top importer, Cupra bagged five awards this year, a record in the history of Company Car of the Year.

The "company car of the year" jury comprises nearly 180 fleet experts, including fleet managers, purchasers, consultants, and brand-independent service providers. They largely represent the German fleet market, overseeing companies with around 147,205 cars and 43,279 vans.

Over 3,600 readers of the industry magazine "vision mobility" cast a total of 44,000 votes to determine the winners of the "BEST OF mobility 2023" readers' choice. With this third comprehensive reader and expert vote, HUSS-VERLAG, in collaboration with Deloitte at IAA MOBILITY, honors companies, products, and services from various mobility and automotive sectors.

International Cargo Bike of the Year (CABOTY) Announced...
After an intense competition among about 20 contenders, manufacturers EAV, Muli, and Carla Cargo emerged victorious in the "International Cargobike of the Year 2023" in various categories. Cargo bikes play a pivotal role in transitioning to carbon-neutral urban logistics, a theme highlighted at IAA MOBILITY.

The VDA, in collaboration with the German Bicycle Logistics Association (RLVD), partnered for this cargo bike award, which was initiated in 2019 by the trade magazine LOGISTRA from HUSS-VERLAG. IAA MOBILITY dedicated a special Cycling & Micromobility Circuit where manufacturers could showcase their products.

OttoCar Trophy for Best Automotive Advertising Awarded to...
The top film of the year, "The Store," submitted by the French creative agency Publicis Conseil for Renault, was honored. For the first time, awards for "Agency of the Year" and "Production Company of the Year" were also presented. With a total of twelve accolades, the German agency Preuss und Preuss, the global lead agency for Mercedes-Benz Vans, emerged victorious. The award for "Production Company of the Year," however, went to the UK's "Chrome Productions," who secured four awards.

The AutoVision Awards are a unique showcase of the world's best film productions that the mobility and automotive industry has to offer.
