On September 8, CUPRA will unveil the all-new CUPRA Tindaya show car at IAA MOBILITY. Named after the volcano on Fuerteventura, the Tindaya features the brand’s signature bold lines and copper accents, embodying a new design language. Its guiding motto: “No Drivers, No CUPRA.” Alongside the Tindaya, CUPRA will also give a first camouflaged preview of the upcoming production model CUPRA Raval, a compact electric city car launching in 2026. Exclusive TRIBE EDITIONS of the Formentor, Leon, Leon Sportstourer, and Terramar will also be on display. The fully electric production models Tavascan and Born will be shown at the Open Space and in the CUPRA City Garage.

At IAA MOBILITY 2025 in Munich, LG Electronics (Vehicle Solution Company) will unveil its strategy for reshaping driver and passenger experiences. Using the theme “Redefining the In-Cabin Experience: Why the Automotive Content Ecosystem Matters,” LG introduces its Automotive Content Platform (ACP), built on webOS, designed to turn vehicles into experience-defined environments — a fully integrated ecosystem for entertainment and connectivity. In panel talks with Chris Jo (Head of the webOS Platform Business Center) and strategic partners, LG will explore how collaborations can enrich in-cabin experiences, boost engagement, and create new value for automakers. The vision: positioning cars not merely as modes of transport, but rather as immersive lifestyle spaces offering richer, scalable entertainment and smarter connectivity.

(c) Schaeffler

Following its merger with Vitesco Technologies, Schaeffler is showcasing its combined product portfolio at IAA MOBILITY for the first time, themed “The Motion Technology Company”. Around 140 products will be on display, focusing on modular components and integrated systems for electrified vehicles. Highlights include chassis and body solutions that improve dynamics, safety, and comfort, such as rear-axle steering and a hands-free access sensor. The centerpiece is the EMR4 electric axle drive, combining e-motor, inverter, and software from the former Vitesco portfolio with Schaeffler’s gearbox, housing, and parking lock. Schaeffler will also debut its own scalable, service-oriented E/E platform with a software ecosystem, underscoring its commitment to shaping the shift toward software-defined vehicle architectures.

(c) Valeo

Valeo will use IAA MOBILITY to showcase its vision for software-defined vehicles (SDVs). Central to the exhibit is Valeo anSWer, the company’s complete software portfolio — from user-centric functions to system integration and digital validation methods. Visitors will see both, production-ready, and forward-looking applications, including the Valeo SCALA 3 LiDAR (for Level 3 automated driving) and Valeo Assist XR, a cloud-based remote support tool for real-time data analysis. Valeo will also demonstrate adaptive driving beam headlights, software-updatable high-resolution lighting, and a mini-LED solution for HD digital signaling. Its electrification portfolio includes onboard chargers, charging stations (Valeo Ineez), and thermal management systems, as well as a two-stage high-voltage eAxle and compact 48V drive system. Inside the cabin, highlights include the next-gen Panovision infotainment display and Racer, an extended-reality video game using live vehicle data. Additional exhibits range from steer-by-wire concepts and driver monitoring systems to the jointly developed iBEE e-motor (magnet-free) and remanufactured components such as inverters and compressors.

(c) smart

For the first time, smart will showcase its full lineup— including the #1, #3, and new #5. The spotlight is on the all-electric smart #5, making its European motor-show debut. This spacious family SUV, built on an 800-volt platform, offers advanced driver assistance, an intelligent cockpit, and industry-leading charging efficiency. It has already won the Red Dot Design Award. Another highlight: the Keith Haring Art Car, serving as the creative centerpiece of the IAA Summit and embodying smart’s philosophy of “intelligent space utilization.” The project is also featured in the IAA Open Space as part of “Celebrate the Streets.”

(c) Hesai

Hesai will showcase two breakthrough LiDAR systems: the ETX LiDAR, purpose-built for Level 3 autonomy, features a compact design mounted behind the windshield with just a 32 mm optical window, enabled by Photon Vector technology. This hidden integration improves aerodynamics while maintaining performance, developed with glassmakers AGC and Saint-Gobain. Visitors can view a live point-cloud stream for the first time. Also on display is the FTX, the widest solid-state LiDAR available (180° × 140° FoV), offering double the resolution of its predecessor and 40% less optical footprint — ideal for blind-spot detection, automated parking, and lane changes.
