What does "Experience Connected Mobility" mean to you?
Mobility networking holds enormous promise for progress: Mobility can become safer, more efficient and more comfortable. At the same time, the efficiency gains pay off in terms of environmental and climate protection targets - and thus in terms of the great global challenge of our time. At the same time, many people are still barely able to experience the possibilities of connected mobility - this is where the IAA Mobility 2023 comes in.

What do you hope to achieve at IAA MOBILITY 2023?
As a consequence, the major challenges and problems in the field of mobility mean that positive aspects and the social and economic benefits of mobility take a back seat. It is hoped that the IAA Mobility 2023 will help to increase the fascination for technical innovations, to see solutions and to generate a positive will for change.

Which essential topic of the future receives too little attention from the public?
From the ADAC's point of view, there is still no satisfactory answer to the question of how to deal with data collected by a modern vehicle. Neither non-discriminatory access for market participants nor data transparency and the data sovereignty of vehicle owners are guaranteed.

In which area of mobility do you see the greatest potential and where do you see the greatest need to catch up?
Electromobility offers the opportunity to decarbonize passenger car traffic. This is particularly important in view of the fact that traffic volumes will not decline, at least not in the medium term. In this respect, it is crucial that the ramp-up of e-mobility succeeds. There are major challenges with

regard to infrastructure - in the areas of road and rail, with a view to charging infrastructure, power grids, and nationwide high-performance mobile Internet.

IAA MOBILITY is the leading global mobility platform. It connects innovators from all spectrums of mobility. Who do you want to network with in September and why?
ADAC is developing an innovation center for new mobility on the former air base in Penzing. Here, ideal conditions are found for testing autonomous driving functions and tests can take place under real conditions. We are also opening up the center and its facilities to universities, startups and companies so that they can develop and test innovations. We look forward to finding new partners at the IAA Mobility - because the future of mobility can only be shaped through the interaction of innovative startups with established companies, from science and industry, research and practice.

The world is fundamentally changing. Innovation and also the endeavors in the mobility sector are bigger than ever before. What is your vision of the world in 20 years?
In 20 years, mobility will be safe, efficient, comfortable and climate-neutral. Mobility will be possible and affordable for everyone and ensure the social and economic participation of all.
