Nine months after IAA MOBILITY 2025, Thomas Stierle, CEO E-Mobility at Schaeffler AG and Matthias Zink, CEO Powertrain & Chassis at Schaeffler AG explain in our interview why participating in IAA MOBILITY 2025 was a huge success for their company, and what had the most impact on their business.
What was your greatest success at IAA MOBILITY 2025?
Thomas Stierle: The IAA MOBILITY 2025 marked a major milestone for Schaeffler. For the first time, we showcased our complete product portfolio after the merger with Vitesco Technologies, demonstrating how we are stronger together.
Our innovation stood out clearly, especially in the areas of battery electric vehicles, electric and electronic architectures, and software-defined solutions. And this is only the beginning: in 2027, we will take the next big step with an even more powerful and future-ready portfolio.
See you there.
Which connection or collaboration that emerged at IAA MOBILITY 2025 had the most impact on your business?
Matthias Zink: The IAA MOBILITY 2025 was a fantastic experience for us at Schaeffler. Being able to connect directly with our customers provided us with important insights and reinforced the strong partnerships we've built, despite challenging market conditions.
The positive feedback we received was truly encouraging. It's this trust and confidence that keeps us moving forward, driven by our innovative strength to exceed customer expectations.
We feel well-prepared to shape the future of our industry together with our customers, and we look forward to continuing this journey at IAA MOBILITY 2027.
