Furthermore, a one-box braking system with up to 300 kW of recuperation power ensures high efficiency during daily driving. The sedan is also prepared for bidirectional charging, allowing it to serve as an energy storage unit for the power grid or the home in the future. Mercedes-Benz positions this model as the sportiest C-Class of all time. This performance is made possible by combining AIRMATIC air suspension, rear-axle steering with up to 4.5 degrees of movement, and a predictive damping control system that utilizes Car-to-X and map data to anticipate road conditions.

Visually, the electric C-Class features a coupe-like silhouette, an athletic GT-style rear, and a reimagined grille. This new front design incorporates 1,050 illuminated dots to create a distinct and unique light signature. Inside, Mercedes-Benz aims for a new level of comfort by using high-quality materials, an optional vegan interior, and sophisticated details like "Twisted Diamond" Nappa leather.

Interior highlights include high-end seats with massage functions, ventilation, and integrated 4D sound. A SKY CONTROL panoramic roof with 162 individually illuminated stars enhances the "Welcome Home" feeling, transforming the cabin into a personal sanctuary.

On the digital front, the new C-Class is powered by MB.OS. This proprietary operating system networks all vehicle functions and enables regular over-the-air updates, ensuring the car remains up to date throughout its lifespan. The 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen, powered by over 1,000 LEDs, provides an immersive display experience. At the same time, an AI-based MBUX Virtual Assistant elevates interaction to a new level by handling complex conversations, learning user preferences, and reacting with context-aware responses. This is further complemented by Navigation with Electric Intelligence, an augmented reality head-up display, and MBUX Surround Navigation for highly intuitive orientation.

Another technical highlight is the multi-source heat pump, which regulates the cabin temperature with extreme efficiency. Even at 19 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 degrees Celsius), the vehicle is designed to heat up significantly faster than conventional models while cutting energy consumption in half. Beyond comfort and performance, Mercedes-Benz emphasizes everyday practicality. The electric C-Class offers a spacious interior, a versatile trunk, and an additional 3.5-cubic-foot (101-liter) frunk. With a towing capacity of up to 4,000 pounds (1.8 tons), it is also highly versatile for leisure and transport needs.

Safety remains a top priority, as the model sets new standards with assistance systems such as DISTRONIC, PRE-SAFE®, and MB.DRIVE Assist for comprehensive active and passive protection. Looking ahead, MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO will eventually enable a seamless point-to-point driving experience, launching first in the United States before expanding to other markets based on local regulatory frameworks.
