The new premium SUV is based on the Lexus brand vision "Discover" and is designed to appeal specifically to users who want to combine comfort, a sense of spaciousness, and high-quality materials with zero-emission mobility.

At the heart of the concept is an exceptionally spacious interior with three full rows of seating and six individual seats. According to the company, the TZ features the largest panoramic roof ever seen on a Lexus model, extending across all three rows to further enhance the open-air feeling. The lounge concept is complemented by heated and ventilated seats, ottoman leg rests in the second row, and infrared heaters for the knee and leg areas of the driver and front passenger.

Lexus is utilizing sustainable materials, including bamboo composites and recycled aluminum. The interior also features "hidden switches"—controls that only become visible when a hand approaches. The cockpit combines a 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a central 14-inch multimedia display. For added convenience, Lexus offers numerous digital features, including cloud-based navigation, over-the-air updates, a Smart Digital Key for smartphones and smartwatches, and various connected service packages via the LexusLink+ app.

An optional, specially tuned Mark Levinson sound system with 21 speakers is available, creating a three-dimensional soundscape.

The Lexus TZ is available with two battery options: 77 kWh and 95.8 kWh. Depending on the model, the range is estimated to be between 450 and 540 kilometers.

The entry-level TZ 450e produces 230 kW (313 PS) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. Positioned above it is the TZ 550e, delivering 300 kW (408 PS) and a 0–100 km/h sprint in 5.2 seconds. Both models come standard with all-wheel drive.

Charging capabilities include up to 22 kW AC and 150 kW DC. This allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. An intelligent battery management system with pre-conditioning is designed to further optimize charging times.
