Renault Group has entered a new phase of its corporate evolution with the launch of its "futuREady" strategic plan. Building on the "Renaulution" transformation that started in 2021, the Group aims to accelerate growth, expand its international footprint, and fast-track technological development. The plan is built on four core pillars: product growth, technological innovation, operational excellence, and strong partnerships across the entire value chain.

The ultimate goal is to establish Renault as a long-term global benchmark for the European automotive industry. To achieve this, the Group is doubling down on electrification, digitalization, and next-generation vehicle platforms.

At the heart of the strategy is a massive product rollout. By 2030, the Renault Group plans to launch 36 new models. Of these, 22 are slated for Europe, while 14 are being developed specifically for international markets.

Electrification is a primary focus, with 16 of the European models set to be all-electric. However, hybrid technology remains a cornerstone of the strategy; the E-Tech hybrid platform will continue to evolve well beyond 2030.

For the European market, the Renault brand is planning 12 world premieres by the end of the decade. The manufacturer intends to strengthen its lead in the traditionally strong A and B-segments (subcompact and compact cars). Recent additions like the new Renault 5 E-Tech electric, the Renault 4 E-Tech electric, and the upcoming Twingo E-Tech electric are expanding the brand's electric portfolio in the small car space. Simultaneously, Renault is preparing a second wave of models for the C and D-segments (mid-size and large), which will increasingly rely on electric and hybrid powertrains.

A technical cornerstone of the strategy is the new RGEV Medium 2.0 electric platform, designed to support vehicles from the B+ to D-segments. This architecture features 800-volt technology, enabling ultra-fast charging and superior efficiency.

The platform is highly flexible, supporting body styles ranging from sedans and SUVs to vans. It will also serve as the foundation for a new generation of software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

Beyond Europe, Renault is aggressively expanding its international footprint. By 2030, the brand aims for annual global sales of more than two million vehicles—half of which are expected to come from outside Europe.

Key to this expansion are the 14 models developed specifically for international markets. This includes a compact SUV based on the Bridger Concept, which will initially be produced in India before potentially rolling out to other regions.

In lockstep with its global expansion, Renault is accelerating its shift toward sustainable mobility. By 2030, the brand aims for 100% of its European sales to be electrified (either all-electric or hybrid). In international markets, the company is targeting an electrified sales share of approximately 50%.

By combining this product offensive with technological innovation and global reach, Renault seeks to sharpen its competitive edge and spearhead the brand's next major growth cycle.
