Porsche has celebrated the world premiere of the new Cayenne Coupé Electric in China. With this new model, Porsche aims to bring the characteristic design language of the 911 into the electric SUV segment. The so-called "flyline," featuring a flat, sloping roofline, a distinct front design from the A-pillar forward, and precise contours, gives the model an exceptionally dynamic and sporty look. At the same time, the coupé-like shape significantly improves aerodynamics: with a drag coefficient of 0.23, the model sits lower than its SUV counterpart and is expected to increase the range to up to 669 kilometers.

Measuring 4,985 millimeters in length and 1,980 millimeters in width, the vehicle matches the dimensions of the SUV model but features a lower profile. Despite this, it offers a high degree of utility: the trunk holds up to 1,347 liters depending on the configuration, complemented by a 90-liter frunk and a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons.

For the market launch, Porsche is releasing the electric SUV-Coupé in three power levels designed to cover the entire spectrum from sporty to high-performance. Even the base model delivers 300 kW (408 PS) and accelerates to 100 km/h in under five seconds. The S variant significantly boosts performance with 400 kW (544 PS) and a 0–100 km/h sprint of 3.8 seconds, while the Turbo version, with up to 630 kW (857 PS) and a sprint time of 2.5 seconds, reaches the territory of classic supercars.

Technologically, the Cayenne Coupé Electric relies on a modern 800-volt architecture that enables exceptionally high charging speeds. Under optimal conditions, up to 390 kW is possible, with short bursts of up to 400 kW. This is complemented by AC charging options of up to 22 kW, allowing the model to integrate flexibly into various charging infrastructures.

Beyond pure performance, Porsche places great emphasis on driving dynamics and comfort. Adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management comes standard, providing a balanced mix of sportiness and long-distance comfort. The optional Porsche Active Ride active suspension offers even more precise handling, while rear-axle steering enhances agility in daily driving and stability at high speeds.

In the interior, Porsche combines a fully digital operating concept with a classic driver-centric focus. The "Porsche Driver Experience" integrates a fully digital instrument cluster, a central display, an optional passenger display, and an augmented reality head-up display. Users benefit from extensive customization options, such as adjustable widgets, display themes, and the integration of third-party apps, increasingly transforming the vehicle into a personalized digital platform.

For particularly performance-oriented customers, Porsche offers an optional Lightweight Sport Package that reduces vehicle weight while highlighting its sporty character. Carbon elements, special wheels, and a specially designed interior featuring high-quality materials ensure even greater dynamics and a more intense driving experience.
