In a new creative collaboration, MINI and the Austrian design studio Vagabund introduced two unique one-off vehicles based on the MINI Countryman. These models are designed to make a powerful statement for adventure spirit, community culture, and festival lifestyle. Strikingly redesigned wheel arches provide a wider stance and give the vehicles a bold, eye-catching look, while the rear side windows have been replaced with a custom high-performance sound system.

The electric designer piece MINI JCW × DEUS "The Skeg" also made its first appearance in China. Featuring a drastically weight-reduced, semi-transparent fiberglass body and functional, surf-inspired accessories, this one-off is meant to capture a lifestyle defined by freedom, movement, and personal expression.

The rest of the MINI showcase focused on a broad portfolio of customized vehicles catering to diverse lifestyles, design approaches, and usage scenarios. With specific editions for the Chinese market and special models from established design partnerships, MINI demonstrated how production vehicles can be clearly differentiated through colors, materials, and details. The MINI Paul Smith Edition on display built upon a long-standing partnership, blending MINI’s signature design with Paul Smith’s iconic style.

These customized vehicles were complemented by MINI Community projects, positioning MINI as a platform for cultural exchange and creative co-creation. The performance DNA of the John Cooper Works sub-brand was also a key part of the presentation.
