CUPRA has officially unveiled the new CUPRA Raval, with its market launch scheduled for summer 2026. Built on the Volkswagen Group’s enhanced MEB+ modular platform, the Raval features a new electric motor and a cell-to-pack battery architecture designed to reduce weight while increasing energy density by approximately 10%.
The model will be available in several performance tiers to suit different driving needs. The entry-level Raval delivers 116 hp (85 kW), while the Raval Plus offers 135 hp (99 kW), both providing a range of approximately 186 miles (300 km). For those prioritizing distance, the Endurance variant provides up to 211 hp (155 kW) and a range between 256 and 275 miles (413–444 km). Finally, the high-performance VZ model boasts 226 hp (166 kW) with a range of up to 237 miles (381 km). Depending on the variant, the fast-charging capacity reaches up to 105 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in roughly 23 to 24 minutes.

A Sporty Urban Performer
CUPRA is positioning the Raval as a distinctly sporty city car. To ensure precise handling, the vehicle is equipped with a lowered suspension, adaptive dampers with 15 adjustment levels, and an electronic limited-slip differential. Drivers can also enjoy unique features like one-pedal driving and an "e-Launch" function—a choreographed acceleration sequence complete with integrated light and sound effects. Beyond standard AC and DC charging, the Raval supports modern functions such as Plug & Charge, providing access to over one million public charging points across Europe, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities to power external devices.
Safety and Aerodynamics
The standard equipment package is comprehensive, including seven airbags—featuring a central airbag—and an array of driver assistance systems such as Travel Assist, Emergency Assist, and automated parking functions. Integrated safety features like pre-crash preparation and fatigue detection come as standard. Aerodynamics played a major role in the design, with optimized air ducts, specialized wheel designs, and active elements working together to minimize drag. Customers can also personalize their vehicles with various paint finishes, including striking iridescent color options.

Digital Cockpit and Sustainable Interior
The interior follows a driver-centric philosophy, centered around a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit and a 12.9-inch infotainment system. This digital hub runs on a new Android-based operating system with integrated apps and expanded connectivity. At the same time, sustainability is a core focus; depending on the trim level, the cabin utilizes recycled materials, microfibers, or vegan leather. Innovative touches like 3D-knitted seat covers and dynamic ambient lighting with projections further emphasize the vehicle’s high-tech character.
