IAA MOBILITY 2023

IAA MOBILITY 2023 to be more international than ever before

When IAA MOBILITY 2023 takes place in Munich from September 5-10, 2023 under the motto "Experience Connected Mobility", the world's leading platform for mobility, sustainability and technology will welcome the largest and most important companies from the automotive, technology, bicycle and micromobility industries.

Share of foreign exhibitors at IAA MOBILITY 2023 higher than ever before

Compared to IAA MOBILITY 2021,  the proportion of commitments from foreign exhibitors has already risen sharply from 33 to 50 percent. In addition to leading German companies, these include many internationally renowned companies such as BYD, Google, LG and Samsung. The number of companies exhibiting at IAA MOBILITY for the first time is also higher than ever. Among the countries with the most international exhibitors in Munich are China, the United States, Austria, South Korea and France. Singapore and the Republic of Kosovo will be represented for the first time. But countries such as Thailand, Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia will also be back. In addition, the "Ukrainian Automotive Cluster", supported by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the VDA, will have a stand at the IAA Summit.

The number of companies from Asia has also increased: 41 percent of the exhibitors come from this continent. The number of Chinese companies at IAA MOBILITY 2023 has more than doubled. This year, the World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC) will also be held at IAA MOBILITY on September 6, for the first time outside of China.

IAA MOBILITY 2023 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre and in downtown Munich

This year, IAA MOBILITY 2023 will take place both at the New Munich Exhibition Center and in downtown Munich. The IAA Summit and IAA Conference at the New Munich Exhibition Center will be the meeting point for all trade visitors, where the mobility of the future with all its innovations and new developments will be presented and discussed in a social and political context - and at the same time the central place for networking. From September 5 to 8, 2023, more than 500 speakers will hold exciting keynotes, fireside chats and discussions on three stages and two dialog areas about the most exciting developments in future mobility, the future of cars and bicycles, road and rail, alternative drives and data-driven innovations, big visions and small political decisions. Among them are CEOs from all mobility segments such as Oliver Blume (CEO Volkswagen and Porsche), Carsten Spohr (CEO Lufthansa Group), Michael Peterson (Deutsche Bahn) and Cristiano Amon (CEO Qualcomm Technologies), as well as key opinion leaders such as Mars mission candidate Alyssa Carson.

At the same time, the IAA Open Space brings tomorrow's mobility right into the heart of downtown Munich. Surrounded by art and culture, food concepts and live entertainment, visitors from all over the world will be able to experience sustainable, smart connected mobility solutions up close in the city's most prominent locations and learn about new, innovative mobility concepts in direct dialog with exhibitors. Moreover, visitors can test everything, from cars to e-scooters and e-bikes on test tracks. Open to everyone and free of charge.
