BSI in Dialogue: Cybersecurity of Vehicle Data

Vehicle data is the key to the mobility of the future. It is only through the use of this data that automated and autonomous driving become possible. In addition, leveraging and analyzing vehicle data holds great potential for enhancing cybersecurity, for example in defending against cyberattacks.

At the same time, the use of data presents challenges in the area of cybersecurity. Exploiting security vulnerabilities can, in the worst case, lead to malfunctions in critical vehicle functions or the compromise of sensitive data.

In a closed session with participants from research, industry, and government agencies, the four-hour "BSI in Dialogue" event will explore how to seize these opportunities while responsibly addressing the associated challenges and risks—ensuring continued trust in the mobility of tomorrow.
