PIX Moving at IAA MOBILITY 2025
Pioneering Next-Generation Urban Mobility
The future of mobility is not simply about the disappearance of drivers — it’s about the complete reconfiguration of how cities move, adapt, and evolve. As one of the world’s pioneering AI-native vehicle companies, PIX Moving redefines the full life cycle of vehicles — from being passively “designed” to becoming actively “self-evolving.”
Originating from a new wave of emerging tech cities, PIX Moving combines artificial intelligence, modular robotics, and bio-inspired design into a new generation of digitally manufactured urban transport. What PIX is building is not just vehicles — but an autonomous, self-adaptive, and human-centered urban mobility ecosystem.
Against this backdrop, PIX Moving is set to unveil the next chapter of smart mobility at IAA MOBILITY 2025 in Munich. This year’s showcase will feature three flagship innovations that reflect this systemic vision:
- PIX Beastie (Robo-EV) — a two-seater electric microcar designed for shared and personal micro-mobility
- Fully autonomous RoboBus — a compact shuttle for smart public transport
- RoboShop — a mobile, modular retail platform that turns commerce into a on-demand service
Together, these vehicles illustrate PIX Moving’s commitment to rethinking urban mobility not just as technology, but as a softer, more human form of interaction between people, spaces, and intelligent systems.

Who We Are
PIX Moving is a deep-tech company driven by the vision of creating a better city lifestyle powered by cutting-edge technologies, transforming the way people access and interact with cities. By combining advanced software, robotics, and AI-driven manufacturing, PIX Moving delivers versatile, efficient, and sustainable mobility products for a rapidly evolving urban landscape. Founded in 2013, PIX Moving operates globally with offices in Japan, China, the United States, Switzerland and others. The company’s international team of over 200 engineers, designers, and developers is dedicated to building a new urban mobility ecosystem.

So far PIX Moving has produced and launched a wide range of smart vehicles including autonomous shuttle RoboBus, on-demand Moving Space and electric mini EV Beastie, ultimately realizing the two-way mobility and interaction between “human” and “space”. PIX is fundamentally disrupting how smart vehicles are designed and manufactured through the AI-driven production approaches.
PIX Beastie — Launching at IAA
Making its official European debut, the PIX Robo-EV Beastie is a lightweight, compact electric vehicle designed for both personal urban mobility and shared micro-mobility scenarios. With a distinctive aesthetic, 3D-printed frame, and AI-enhanced driving interface, Beastie is the embodiment of decarbonized, user-centered transport innovation.

The body structure of PIX Robo-EV Beastie is generated through AI-powered generative design, inspired by natural evolution, resulting in a unique biomimetic form. With 3D printing, these complex structures come to life, showcasing the endless possibilities for the future of mobility. Robo-EV wasn’t simply born on a production line—it was printed with the spirit of innovation, shaping every curve and every detail with cutting-edge precision.
As a modular city companion, Beastie is ideal for gated communities, city centers, tourism, last-mile logistics, and beyond. It supports autonomous or human driving, making it a flexible solution for various urban and semi-urban environments.
RoboBus & RoboShop — Moving Spaces, Not Just Vehicles
As a state-of-the-art autonomous shuttle bus designed to enhance urban and rural mobility, PIX RoboBus has already seen deployments in Italy, Japan, South Korea, the UAE, the U.S., and India, supporting smart city trials and public transport initiatives. It is engineered to serve as a scalable MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) solution for autonomous shuttles, campus transport, and city circulators. PIX RoboBus employs a multi-sensor fusion strategy, incorporating LiDAR, navigation system, cameras, and ultrasonic radar etc..This comprehensive autonomous system enables precise identification and analysis of surrounding obstacles, pedestrians, vehicles, and road signs, ensuring safe driving in various road and weather conditions. The RoboBus fleets can be deployed and scattered around the main city roads to navigate around the blocks and streets, greatly dredging the city “blood vessels” and leading to a dynamic city mobility system.

The RoboShop adds a new layer to PIX’s vision: autonomous, on-demand retail spaces. With flexible interiors, retractable counters, and AI-driven navigation, RoboShop enables mobility in commerce — turning mobility into a 24/7 service platform.

Core Innovations and Technology
Each solution exemplifies PIX Moving’s commitment to autonomous operation, modular design, and real-world problem-solving in mobility.
1. Software-Defined Vehicles and Modularity
PIX Moving’s proprietary vehicle platform features a modular, skateboard chassis architecture. This platform is fully decoupled and supports a range of vehicle types, offering:
· Software-defined adaptability: Vehicles can be reconfigured via software for multiple use cases—mobility, retail, logistics, and more.
· Rapid iteration: AI-driven generative design enables 3D model creation with precise optimization for geometry, dynamics, and structure, cutting lead time by 60%.

2, Advanced Autonomous Driving
PIX Moving integrates L4-level autonomous driving systems, multi-sensor fusion, and high-performance drive-by-wire platforms. These enable robust operation in complex urban environments and support a wide range of mobility solutions.
3, Smart City Mobility
Intentionally designed to be urban-friendly, the PIX product matrix achieves compact footprints, low noise, and intelligent routing — ideal for last-mile transport, gated community mobility, university campuses, tourist areas, and retail delivery zones. Whether used for public transit or commercial services, PIX vehicles can integrate with city mobility platforms via APIs and are optimized for low-speed, high-utility zones, helping cities decarbonize and reduce congestion at scale.
4. Decarbonization & Manufacturing Efficiency
PIX uses AI-generated designs and robotic 3D printing to eliminate unnecessary parts and material waste. Its 3CM system allows for small-batch, localized production, minimizing logistics emissions and lowering factory setup costs. Compared to traditional vehicle production, PIX reduces components by up to 60%, cuts costs by 60%, and shortens development cycles by 75% — making low-emission mobility not just sustainable, but also economically viable.

Together, these innovations position PIX Moving not just as a vehicle manufacturer, but as a full-stack enabler of adaptive, autonomous, and climate-resilient mobility, echoing the themes of IAA Mobility 2025.
Why It Matters
The real future of mobility lies not in “self-driving taxis”, but in self-evolving mobility systems. In tomorrow’s cities, we won’t just need smarter cars — we’ll need smarter mobility orchestration, more empathetic urban relationships, and greener mobility infrastructures.

At PIX, every RoboBus, Beastie, or RoboShop is a cell of mobility — equipped with perception, decision-making, and connectivity. These mobile units flow through urban spaces, adapt to rhythms of human life, and grow with their surroundings. This is PIX Moving’s AI-native vision for the future of transportation.
Welcome to the world of PIX
The PIX team believes that the cities of the future are not just assemblies of concrete and steel — they are living organisms where humans and technology coexist. PIX Moving is not merely building vehicles; they are creating urban companions — mobile lifeforms that grow with the city. In an AI-driven future, every journey becomes more than just transportation — it becomes an act of exploration, connection, and emergence.
Explore how the next generation of mobility moves beyond manufacturing products — toward weaving relationships. Beyond tools — toward ecological coexistence.
